Spearlance Named a Finalist in the 2026 Search Engine Land Awards
Spearlance is a finalist in the 2026 Search Engine Land Awards for Best Local Search Marketing Initiative – SEO. The finalists were announced on October 20, and the winners will be announced on Search Engine Land on Monday, October 26.

The work that earned the nomination
Our entry was our work with Progressive Pediatric Therapy, a pediatric therapy practice with three clinics in South Florida. It was a full SEO approach, built to help PPT bring in more patients and also hire more therapists, which is one of the biggest problems in their industry.
We built out each clinic's local presence so it could rank in its own market. We also built a job board around the local job searches therapists actually use, so PPT could recruit through Google instead of relying only on job sites.
The results
- 97% more non-branded local clicks, meaning people who found PPT through searches that didn't include their name
- 43% more patient inquiries
- 60+ applications that turned into 6 clinical hires through the local job pages
